Emanne Beasha received the Golden Buzzer

Looks can be deceiving. Take, for one example, Emanne Beasha. The 10-year-old stepped onto the Americaโ€™s Got Talent stage Tuesday night and belted out Lucio Dalla’s “Caruso,” a challenging opera piece which she admitted was the โ€œhardest song Iโ€™ve ever done.โ€

If you closed your eyes for a moment, the Jordan-born, Florida native couldโ€™ve been an experienced stage star. Yes, looks can be deceiving.

Howie Mandel, Terry Crews, Gabrielle Union, Simon Cowell and Julianne Hough on America's Got Talent.

A one-time Arabs Got Talent winner, the youngsterโ€™s command and range caught the judges by surprise. By the end, everyone in the room was either smiling, whistling or crying. All were standing.

โ€œTo have a voice like this,โ€ Simon Cowell remarked, โ€œthis is not something you can train to get. It genuinely is a gift.โ€

Guest judge Jay Leno was feeling it. โ€œI feel like Iโ€™m a witness to something special,โ€ the former late-night TV host enthused. At some point in my career, people will say, โ€˜what do you remember most?โ€™ I remember hitting the golden buzzer.โ€ And thatโ€™s what he did, fast-tracking Beasha on to the quarter-finals live shows.
